Our first shoot as part of our EARTH video reel, to be released mid-February for the project SevenStarSun. I took part as a performer and costume designer in the piece 'Spun' choreographed by Russia Hardy (the beautiful red headed goddess in the pictures).
Inspiration and concepts stuck to the tribal earthy tones of coppers, bronzes and golds. We were all in nudes with copper sashes, copper iridescent wings by DancingWings, copper tribal markings on the face, as well as copper accented fringe belts. This was our first piece and the projections onto the reflective wings, as well as the lighting and color schemes and spiral images was all really interesting to work with.
We shot at the Vortex Immersion Dome at the Bixel Studio Lot in downtown in which the changing backgrounds and colors were projected onto the dome above and around us and not just in the background. Exciting stuff! Photo credits to Annie Gaia.
